Rapid expert virtual consultations for all types of epilepsy and seizures from new-onset to highly complex.
At home EEGs can help clarify the epilepsy diagnosis and distinguish seizure types for personalized treatment.
In cases where the cause of seizures is not explained by initial testing, genetic testing may be recommended.
Precision Epilepsy PLLC is a pediatric epilepsy practice that utilizes innovative telehealth technology, so all children affected by seizures have improved access to specialized care. Pediatric epileptologists (and neurologists) are either unavailable or have long waiting lists in many parts of the country.
Dr John J Millichap, MD is an accomplished pediatric epileptologist available to provide expert virtual consultations in multiple States nationwide (licensed in all the purple states in the adjacent figure). After over a decade at Northwestern University's top-ranked academic pediatric epilepsy center, Dr Millichap has seen a high volume of rare epilepsies that community neurologists may not be familiar with. Consultations will provide information regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and next steps from a nationally recognized specialist. Opinions are communicated to the local primary treating neurologist or pediatrician.
